If you are visiting the Blackall-Tambo area, we are happy to provide any extra information you may require. You can do this easily by contacting us at one of our Visitor Information Centres. We are also happy to receive any feedback that you may have about your visit to Blackall and Tambo. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Blackall Visitor Information Centre is situated in the heart of town but there is plenty of parking just around the corner in Short Street. Come in and have a chat to find out what there is to see and do in Blackall and stock up on local and regional brochures. Relevant Blackall brochures and local information can be posted to interested persons, free of charge, anywhere in Australia. If you like a bit of bush camping the Blackall VIC can take your registration and payment for a site along the Barcoo River Camp.
Tambo's Visitor Information Centre is housed in the heritage listed Historical Courthouse that was built in 1888. This beautiful single walled building is now home to the information centre and Library. Located at the eastern end of the town in the Heritage Precinct, there is ample street parking for even the largest rigs. Call in and chat to the friendly staff about the attractions this small town has to offer. There are a number of brochures available to help plan your stay in the outback.
