Blackall
Nestled in the middle of the outback, Blackall is known for its colour and culture. Blackall is an appealing country town with shady tree lined streets and heritage buildings. Situated along the fully sealed Matilda Way, Blackall is a stay-a-while spot on any road trip. Tambo
Known as one of the friendliest towns in Outback Queensland, Tambo is also the oldest town in the Central West. This little gem is the halfway point between Brisbane and Mount Isa along the Matilda Way and offers plenty of adventure for those travelling along it. Tambo is: 864km from Brisbane via the Matilda Way 713km from Rockhampton via the Capricorn Way 962km from Mount Isa along the Matilda Way 102km from Blackall along the Matilda Way

QantasLink currently flies between Brisbane and Blackall twice a week; Wednesday and Friday. Phone the Blackall Taxi to catch a ride into town from the Airport.
